Hasee Toh Phasee opens today and the (positive) reviews are pouring in. Of course, I’m scooping them up and cataloging them away until I watch and write one of my own, but now that we’re so close, I thought I’d share some film stills and thoughts from the actors themselves on their characters, their chemistry and their hopes for the film. And, as luck would have it, the two stars, aren’t the only ones gabbing about the film. Recently their producers (at 43 secs) also sat down with CNN-IBN’s Entertainment Editor, Rajeev Masand, to discuss their unlikely pairing and the inception of what’s being deemed a “quirky love story.”
These two make such a delightful couple and their candor and outlook on the industry is refreshing. Their rapport is so friendly and open, as if they’ve known each other for years. No one would ever believe they were kept away from one another for weeks to build up the awkwardness of their characters.
Parineeti was a favorite at first sight but Sidharth has taken just a little more time to warm to. However, now, I am all in with him and don’t regret my words at all last year—- He’s someone to look out for and be excited to see in any new project.
