First Look: Diwale

My favorite OTP anywhere, doing anything (EVER!) is slated to release their eighth motion picture film together by the end of the year. That’s right, kids, you read correctly— Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are back! I don’t really think it’s possible to surpass this couple in my book as perfection because they work for so many reasons in my mind on and off-screen. It’s true, I’d never want to see them portray anything besides lovers but I sincerely believe their synergy as actors could pull off any role opposite one another and in an alternate universe, would love to see them give it a try.  Continue reading First Look: Diwale

Unni and the Box: Student of the Year

I share quite a few movies on this site but I rarely take the time to let you guys know my thoughts on the films once I view them. And though I’m no one’s film critic, it’s only fair to give the full picture if I can. Therefore, every now and again, I’ll release a post on a film I’ve mentioned previously(or not). Movie Moment: Student of the Year

Light, youthful films are usually slated for the summer sun but somehow, Karan Johar’s newest directorial venture premiering in the Fall, works the best with it’s sports themed premise. Can’t say I’ve been looking forward to this film but my genuine appreciation of Johar as person, makes me curious enough to give it a chance.
