This Valentine’s Day at least one film will venture to be all things to all people. For Yash Raj Film’s Gunday, has it all—- guns, guts and gori (a fair maiden).
The film, also known as Goons or Outlaws (its English title), is Ali Abbas Zafar’s second directorial venture and is a period tale of two brothers that become orphans and subsequent refugees during the Bengali Liberation War, who grown up to be infamous and beloved thieves, then happen to fall in love with the same woman.

If you love films as much as I do, you find yourself waiting insurmountable amounts of time for film releases. At this point, I’m beginning to believe I enjoy the high of waiting, over the relief of release for when the film finally hits screens, it takes me a few more weeks, even months to get down to viewing.
Gunday, was announced last year, which had my teeny hopes up we’d get a 2013 release but with one half of the main cast in recovery from injury after injury, no such luck. However, finally, we have a release date, the buzz in back up, the editing underway and Gunday is on it’s way early next year.

AW YEAUH! There’s a superhero for every season! Summer gave us a darker Superman through Man of Steel and the Fall will bring us closer to understanding Hindi film hero, Krrish. Though the film doesn’t premiere until November, promotions begin now, with a Live Video Chat with its star Hrithik Roshan (Mission Kashmir, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara).
