First Look: Ek Villain

Sidharth Malhotra is on my Top 5 “Ones to Watch” from the newest generation of Bollywood actors and after is hit Hasee Toh Phasee he’ll be following that up with a starkly different role as the troubled protagonist in Mohit Suri’s new picture, Ek Villain, opposite budding new talent Shraddha Kapoor. The two will be joined by Riteish Deshmukh and Amrita Puri in antagonist roles.

This will also be Kapoor’s second film with Suri, after last year’s hit Aashiqui 2. On Monday, Suri tweeted this, along with the first image of his film’s poster : This is it !! first look of #EkVillain . Even the bad fall in love !! And though I’m fairly certain, my mind went blank for a second or two, even through the fog, there was a resounding, “YES PLEASE!”

Ek Villain is slated for a hot and sweaty summer release on June 27th.
